Jeffrey's Llitas...finally

Several months ago I bought a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes, and today I finally wore them for the first time! They are definitely not the easiest shoes to match with an outfit but I find that they go well with a pair of denim shorts. And surprisingly, they actually ARE comfortable!

I also tried out a new nail polish from Flormar. Definitely not a color I'm used to, but I kinda liked that it was something new and different :)

As far as my "blogging research" goes, I'm still finding it a little difficult to always keep up with the blogging. I still forget to bring take pictures sometimes, and I'm still not completely comfortable in front of the camera. At times I feel like I look ridiculous posing...but I'm still working on getting over the nerves!  ;)

Summer sales!

Summer sales have started! And its pretty convenient since I'm yet to go on my summer vacations, so I'll be stocking up on some summer pieces to take with me on my trips! Here are a couple items I bought the other day. I'll definitely be buying some more things before I leave.

The first top is from Topshop. I loved the material and the color. And I also like to combine this type of loose tops with cute bootie shorts. The next two tops and dress are all from Zara. I also bought a pair of bright pink skinny jeans which I love! and a cute pair of pale pink shorts.

I really want to go buy more stuff at Zara but whenever there are sales there you must seriously have some determination! It can become extremely chaotic and sometimes I just don't have the nerves for it. Maybe in the next couple days I'll find the motivation again! ;)

A new addition to my room

There has been a new addition added to my room: a much needed hanger for my clothes! Ever since I moved back into my parents house, even though it's just for the summer, my closet has literally been overflowing and has caused a serious mess in my room! Literally clothes was lying on every inch of furniture available. So hopefully this hanger will create a little bit of order in my room. 

But I actually really like the way it looks, and I think it makes a nice accessory in my room :) 

How do I pose..?

So this is my real first outfit post on my blog. My boyfriend and I were in the city for lunch so when we came home I quickly grabbed my camera and asked him to snap a couple pictures of me so I could finally post them on my blog!

I didn't realize how strange it can be to purposefully pose for the camera. Its definitely something I'll have to work on if I want to keep creating this blog! :)

Rings, rings, rings

Rings are definitely my favorite piece of jewelry. These are a couple of my favorite rings. I especially love crystal animal rings, and I've collected a couple nice ones over the last three years. Most of the crystal animal ones were bought while on vacation in Italy.

I also have a weakness for Swarovski rings! They're so beautiful and can be worn with anything.

A little history...

I decided to post a couple photos from the last year of my life... I decided this for two reasons, the first being I wanted to share some pieces of my personal life and everyday fashion with you, and the second being I've just been too busy to take new photos specifically for the blog. I'm going to have to start making more time to dedicate solely to my blog. 

In the meantime, here are a couple photos that were taken during different times throughout the 

last year...

In the next couple days I will start taking pictures specifically for the blog.. I'm pretty excited to see how that will go.. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

My First Post!

This is my first post in my very first blog ever! I'm very excited to see how this process will evolve! This blog will be dedicated to my love for fashion and sharing my personal style as well as my current favorites in fashion, accessories, and style.

I named my blog "The Fashion Experiment" because I'm starting this blog as a form of research for an article I am currently working on. I wanted to know, and help others understand, what it really takes to be a fashion blogger. 

I can't wait to find out!
